Adesanya Vs Vettori Reddit

There is something to look forward to from the UFC almost every weekend of the year. However, like with every athletic organization, certain events are more important than others. This weekend is a huge one in the MMA world, as UFC 263 will feature a pair of championship matches, making it must-see television. On the main program, there are five bouts, all of which are of exceptionally high quality. We have a lot to cover here, so let's go ahead and preview the bouts, their UFC odds, and make some predictions as we go. UFC 263 Odds & Analysis: Adesanya vs. Vettori 2 | MMA Betting Preview

Marvin Vettori vs. Israel Adesanya: When is the fight tonight? Although the MMA event begins at 6 p.m. ET, the main card, which includes two championship bouts, does not begin until 10 p.m. ET on Saturday, June 12. It will be held in front of a packed house at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona. There will be a total of 14 bouts, and you do not want to miss any of them. UFC pay-per-view events are usually entertaining. If you wish to watch the event live, you may do so by subscribing to ESPBN+ for $64.99. You should probably purchase it if you have the money. You already know how Dana White is.

Costas' first fight since fighting Adesanya for the UFC middleweight belt at UFC 253 last September. Costa was knocked out in the second round by strikes, his first professional defeat. Vettori has also just lost against Adesanya. Vettori was defeated by The Last Stylebender in the main event of UFC 263 this past June in his second bout. Adesanya was unimpressed with Vettori's performance.

Although Robert Whittaker is 0-2 versus Israel Adesanya, the Grim Reaper feels a trilogy with The Last Stylebender is still possible.

Whittaker will meet Marvin Vettori at UFC Paris in his first fight since losing to Adesanya at UFC 271 in February. Despite having lost twice to the incumbent UFC middleweight champion, Whittaker is sure that a victory against Vettori would not only cement his position as the No. 1 contender, but will also give him another title shot against Adesanya if he defeats Jared Cannonier at UFC 276 in July.

Adesanya feinted wonderfully to begin, and Vettori is now chewing on everyone. He takes a low kick and rushes in for a takedown, but Adesanya escapes to the fence and defends effectively. Vettori plainly lacks the energy to muscle up one of these takedowns even if he could, and Adesanya isn't giving him the opportunity anyhow. Adesanya separates after a lengthy tussle and hits a solid head kick. Vettori absorbs it well, but he is unable to generate any meaningful offensive. Not so for Adesanya, who is generating angles and labeling the challenger tonight. Adesanya mocks Vettori's right hand, and Vettori hits a nice right hook as Adesanya tries to set him up for a closing uppercut that barely misses.

Chase Hooper: Chase Hooper is still mostly a one-trick pony. His striking is improving, but it is still limited to distracting his opponents and maybe setting up his takedowns. The 21-year-old has no intention of quitting, which is wonderful, but it may result in him incurring more harm than necessary. Hooper needs time to hone his hitting abilities. If the UFC had any interest in this young kid as a possible future UFC fighter, it would retain him on a development contract and move him down a level of competition.

Jamahal Hill vs. Paul Craig (+245) (-305)

We kick things off with a Light Heavyweight matchup between an up-and-coming competitor and one with some serious experience under his belt. Paul Craig enters this bout with a 14-4-1 record and a reputation for being a difficult opponent. Jamahal Hill is on the rise in the category after winning each of his first eight bouts, with KO victories sprinkled throughout. Craig will be difficult to defeat, but I believe Hill maintains his unbeaten record.

Because these two have previously battled, we should anticipate each guy to try to improve on their previous victories. Vettori was able to push his opponent and find powerful moments in the wrestling exchanges, whilst Adesanya did some really excellent job timing counter attacks and ripping kicks at range. Adesanya should attempt to make full use of his right leg in this second matchup. He usually uses that weapon to destabilize his opponent's lead leg, but because Vettori is a Southpaw, Adesanya would be better suited placing his front kick up the center and coupling it with round kicks to the torso and head. Vettori doesn't kick frequently, thus extending his range advantage might be quite beneficial to Stylebender.

Marvin Vettori: Following the conclusion of his bout against Israel Adesanya, Marvin Vettori said that he believed he had defeated the middleweight champion. If that is stated, I hope Vettori sits down with his coach, who warned him he was losing the fight, and watches the footage. If that occurs, I hope Vettori's coach, Rafael Cordeiro, has him explain where and how he believed he won. Deiveson Figueiredo: I'm not sure whether we've seen the last of Deiveson Figueiredo in the flyweight class, but it's possible. On Saturday, Brandon Moreno defeated Figueiredo through stoppage, ending Figueiredo's run as 125-pound champion. The battle was not especially close, with Moreno winning through rear-naked choke. Figueiredo's weight cuts are difficult, and at 33, they will not get any easier. With the championship in the hands of another guy, it may be time for Figueiredo to embark on a new chapter in his career as a bantamweight.
