I've scoured the Internet for information on Tri Lo Marzia/Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo and the birth control pill in general, but all I've found are negative reviews. I know that individuals are more inclined to post a review if they had a negative experience. If everything goes as planned, hardly nobody leaves a review. Also, should I wait until I get my period before starting birth control since I used Plan B and it may mess with my cycle? Thanks!

Hi! For the last six years, I've been on and off birth control. I used to be on tri sprintec, but I became pretty horrible at taking my birth control and eventually quit using it. I decided to go back on BC after roughly nine months since I was getting terrible cramps. Instead, I visited a different gynecologist who prescribed tri lo Marzia. I'm nearing the end of week three, and my breasts have grown like crazy. I'm also quite exhausted and experiencing stomach problems. My partner and I ALWAYS use a condom, thus I doubt I'm pregnant (had an abortion in 2017). I truly want to quit taking it, but I also believe I should wait. Has anybody else had similar problems with tri lo Marzia or a low hormone BC?

I phoned my OBGYN when I began spotting because I was concerned about the early spotting. She claimed it's entirely normal and that I should give my body a few cycles to adapt. If I continue to have negative effects, she may write a notation on my prescription instructing Rite Aid to only give me name brand medications. Would you, if you were in my position, insist that the original be restored as soon as possible? Do you believe my body will adapt based on these symptoms? I know what made me happy, and they play a ruse on me. I mean, it's the "same" friggin pill, but I know generic isn't always the "same," and that's what bothers me. With my insurance, OTC Lo is now $30 per box. It used to cost $15, but with generic available, the price has risen. Generic is completely free. I'm not bothered about the cost. I started my first pack yesterday and will complete week 1 tonight. So far, I've felt slight pressure and stiffness between and behind my eyes. I've also experienced unusual dizziness and lightheadedness, as well as minor nausea. I haven't seen the room whirling, but my brain feels strangely fuzzy. So far, I haven't felt any discomfort. I've tried motion sickness medications, ibuprofen, and drinking as much water as I can, and it's helped a bit. I'm hoping that this is merely a problem during the first week, when the dose is the maximum. Anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with these adverse effects? Anything would be appreciated.
