Shigeo Kageyama, also known as "Mob," is a 14-year-old student in his second year at Salt Middle School. Despite being born with telekinesis, he strives to live a normal life. Mob's repressed feelings develop within him little by little as he goes through the upheaval of puberty, and his emotion-fueled strength threatens to overflow. Studio Bones confirmed the release of an anime adaptation on December 1, 2015, which debuted on July 11, 2016. Yuzuru Tachikawa directed the adaption, which was written by Hiroshi Seko and included music by Kenji Kawai. As part of their cooperation, Crunchyroll licensed it and Funimation released it. Bang Zoom! Entertainment created the simuldub, which debuted on Funimation on December 11, 2016. The anime also got a Compilation Movie named Mob Psycho 100, which concentrated on Reigen's point of view. Reigen shirarezaru kiseki reinryokusha, which debuted in March 2018, was followed by a statement that the anime will return for a second season in January 2019. Adult Swim's Toonami program confirmed that the show will premiere on October 27th, 2018.
