How To Live Without A Job Reddit

I have no idea how anyone could muster the courage to do this. I've seen a lot of posts here and on r/personalfinance about people who have done or are planning to do this. How do you just uproot your entire life and relocate somewhere without a job? As a risk-averse individual, this seems insane to me. Has anyone had any success with this method? I'm sure there will be some selection bias because only those who were successful are likely to respond. But, in any case, I'd like to hear your thoughts.

I'm beginning to panic. Can anyone assist me? I can't force myself to work any longer. The most popular post in the Antiwork community at the time encouraged people to expand the McDonald's strike into a larger general strike in order to force the company to pay its employees $25 per hour. When I asked the anonymous poster what he hoped would happen as a result of his post's popularity, he mentioned GameStop, whose stock price soared in early 2021 almost entirely due to a Reddit community called r/wallstreetbets. He stated that he wished to apply the same power to labor rights. Soon after, he made and shared on Antiwork a sign with the slogan McDonalds Employment Boycott above an image of a worker swinging a hammer. People began printing it and taping it up in fast-food restaurants. The group had over 1.2 million members at the time.

For example, a competitor recently purchased my company. I've enjoyed working here, but now I'm considering returning to the Midwest, where my parents live. But don't forget to connect your reasoning to the specific company or job. (This is an incredible job opportunity, and I believe in the values of your organization.) Make a safety net.

I'll be 25 in a few months, and looking back, I have nothing to be proud of. I dropped out of high school at the age of 16 and earned my GED at the age of 19. I've taken a few college courses, but I still don't know what I want to do. Because of depression and social anxiety, I spent the majority of my life shutting myself away in my room, and as a result, I missed out on what other people my age were accomplishing and experiencing. Things like prom, getting their first car, going to parties, and so on. To me, it's all just a missed opportunity.
