David Angelo Western Razor Company

Purchased directly from their website, so this is not a "verified review." I used to shave with safety razors on a daily basis and owned a few, but I haven't done so since I left the army in late 2017. I had to start over because I got a new job, so I bought this. It's fairly mild; I'd prefer something more aggressive, but that's just a matter of taste. It's of good quality, but it's not a premium razor. You could certainly find something of comparable quality imported from China for around $20. That is not to say the quality is poor; it is quite good, just not premium. While the cast zinc production is not high-end, it provides a nice weight for effortless shaving. I like it, and if you're willing to pay twice as much to ensure it wasn't made with slave labor, I highly recommend it. Personally, I wish I had chosen a muhle (made in Germany), which is more aggressive and roughly the same price.
