Your customers should have your complete focus. Not to say that sometimes I'm sure they have busier times and you do your best, but this is who pays them, CUSTOMERS lol. Certain cashiers appear to despise their jobs. This appears to be common in most convenience stores, but at the end of the day, I don't know you, and you don't know me. Remember that great customer service is what keeps your business running.

The same is true for coffee rewards and cigarettes! They will tell you that the screen is broken, which is a blatant lie! The cashier wasn't sure how to set it up, but we figured it out and she was super nice, so that made up for it!
