GMC Yukon XL SLE 2021 Review

This Yukon XL surpassed our expectations. We upgraded from a 2014 XL, and the difference is night and day. On terms of size, the new design enables my 6'6 son to sit in the third row. On the 2014 XL, this is not feasible. They've also improved all of the aesthetics, and with the new 10-speed tranny, the XL drives and feels fantastic. We also chose the 3.0 diesel since it was the only option. We didn't even test drive one since they're hard to come by, but we're quite pleased with the engine, gas economy, and how quiet it is. We get approximately 22 miles per gallon in town and about 27 miles per gallon on the interstate. All of the safety features including the heads-up display operate well. And the sunroof is ridiculously large. GMC did an excellent job, and I strongly suggest the Yukon XL to anybody who wants to transport people in comfort.:)

2019 White Yukon Denali With Black Rims

I've been driving a 2016 Yukon for two years and now a 2019, so I'm quite familiar with the Yukon XL Denali. It drives more like a vehicle and does not seem to be as large as it is. I switched from 22" to 20" wheels. I believe 20" is a better ride. When compared to other cars in its class, the only thing I believe it needs is softer leather seats. It's not as luxurious as an Escalade ESV or a Lincoln L, but it's $15,000 to $20,000 less expensive, so I believe the value is excellent. I've traveled cross-country journeys with it, and it's a pleasant ride with little cabin noise and sufficient of propulsion to get up and go when I need to.
