Paula's Choice Bha Before And After Reddit

4.9 out of 5 stars I intend to repurchase this product when it runs out and to keep it in my regimen. I live in a chilly environment, thus my skin is healthier in the winter. I usually have pretty awful acne in the summer, so I'm interested to see whether this cream might assist me manage humid warm weather breakouts.

However, it wasn't until one week later that crap truly hit the fan. I began to break out on my cheeks, which I ignored at first as purging, but the breaking out became uncontrollable. My cheeks were covered with fresh red spots/zits for the first time in my life (before, I had one per week or two), and they were very painful. Even after not using the BHA for three weeks, I still have comedones in areas where I had none before. So my face now looks like a catastrophe, WHAT HAVE I DONE?! Is my skin permanently damaged? I'm graduating next month and going overseas, and I'm not looking forward to shooting photos. How do I go about getting rid of these irritated spots?

I started using BHA in April, mostly to clear my numerous whiteheads and to treat infrequent acne outbreaks. I even used it every day for a while. However, because to over-exfoliation, this caused my skin to break out in tiny, white, pus-filled pustules. Since then, I've reduced my BHA use to twice a week. However, I still use BHA more often when my pores are blocked more than normal. Product characteristics

Can retinol be used with vitamin C, BHA, AHA, and niacinamide?

The concept that AHA and BHA exfoliants "deactivate" or diminish the efficacy of retinol is often challenged. We've also read in beauty publications that retinol works better without AHA or BHA exfoliants or, gasp, that it shouldn't be used with vitamin C. What about retinol and niacinamide, for example?
