EIGHTEEN IMAGES conceit (Vanity, 2002) Ricky: This was the title tune of the first metalcore album I heard when I was approximately 13 years old. Someone had handed me a ripped CD with the song on it, and the breakdown was the heaviest thing I'd ever heard. It really blew my head. Looking back, it's amusing to listen to since the weight isn't even comparable to music today. But it was something different at the time.

He also asserts that the band is done with metalcore music, claiming that the purpose of the Infamous album was to "get them out of a genre that has become repetitious tedious nonsense."
