Scarlet Witch Comic Panels

In the early days of the Thor comics, the God of Thunder would spend his time on Midgard as his alter ego, Donald Blake, and transform into Thor as needed. Thor was a doctor under the guise of Blake, and in Journey Into Mystery #95, he even built a super-intelligent android. Furthermore, it is revealed in Journey Into Mystery #111 that Thor retains Dr. Blake's medical knowledge even after returning to his Asgardian form. While Thor's strength is undeniable, his exceptional intelligence makes a compelling case for Thor to be the most powerful Avenger.

Mike T. wrote this. So, Avengers: Age of Ultron has finally arrived in theaters in the United States. You have been forewarned that this review contains some spoilers. If you watch the TV show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., you'll know that they've tracked down Loki's Avengers team, which is where we begin in this film. To begin the film, there are a few action scenes and jokes as the Avengers take out a slew of Hydra agents and we are introduced to the mutan, er, mutant.

This comic may appear to be moving too quickly. We get three pages of Prodigy, X-Factor Investigations, and Wanda's kids Billy and Tommy discussing the mystery of her death and how they can help her. They're good kids. There's another comic inside this one about a traumatized mother about young people attempting to help their traumatized mother. Given how much fanfic already exists for Young Avengers, I'd love to see someone (someone who isn't professionally involved with comic books! they're not allowed!) fanfic the issue from Billy's point of view. Williams takes Wanda's point of view when she's on page, and middle-aged Wanda when she's available: In the astral plane, ego-Wanda must learn to listen to white-haired superego-Wanda explain, in a super-real way, how she must master her trauma response and integrate her personalities, not for herself (she is in charge of herself), but because acting out her uncontrolled trauma response endangers everyone you love! Putting your children in danger!

There's a lot of fun to be had here if you go in with the right expectations and treat this as its own thing, something different from Wandavision. You also don't need much comics knowledge to get started, which is a huge plus in my opinion. Steve Dillon contributes artwork to the chapter on Ireland. It had to be some of his last published work before he died. Rest in peace, my friend.
